about

Hari Bhajan Kaur Khalsa’s name means “Song of God” which is befitting. She has a deep love for singing devotional music and has made it her life mission to help uplift humanity through the devotional Sikh Kirtan, mantras, and inspiring songs which blossom from her creative and gentle heart.

Born in Mexico, she adores living now in New Mexico, USA where the enchanting land inspires her to live and serve with love. Schooled in India and the U.S., she has uniquely combined together sacred musical flavors of both cultures, as well as diving deeply into a highly refined, traditional art of singing and music called Raag Kirtan. Many places around the world have had the pleasure of hosting her for special events, well-attended yoga festivals, and concerts in auditoriums across seven countries.

Many artists have admired and complimented her music, such as Snatam Kaur, who praised her creative ability to continually come up with unique new melodies, Kevin James, Liv Singh of Invincible Records, and many others. Thomas Barquee, well-known record producer of sacred music, of Zen Den Studio said Hari Bhajan’s was one of his favorite voices and they did a few recording projects together. Guru Dev Singh of Sat Nam Rasayan healing said about her music that she had what it takes to heal people through her voice.

Complimenting her talents, her husband joins in regularly to create a beautiful blend of guitar into this sacred music. A world-class guitarist, Siri Chand Singh Khalsa, specializes in picking the strings of the guitar harmonically throughout different songs and has the added talent of picking up many other instruments and easing their flavors into the musical tapestry as needed.

Currently, Hari Bhajan Kaur is teaching classes with The Invincible Hall on self-healing through chanting. Also there is a beautiful website, www.HariBhajanKaur.com, where you can find her albums and updates on music and classes, learning to sing kirtan, how to self-heal with mantra and sacred songs.

Recently at a local kirtan event, a participant complimented that they get to a deep, meditative place whenever she sings. Another participant at a recent class said that they experienced total stillness while listening to her sing at a class.

She lives in New Mexico, USA, with her husband and son and is working on her next two albums. They are fundraising through her website to record more albums and a new series of video courses coming soon.
